Things to do in Dallas for Groups – Zero Gravity Group Deals

I am guessing we have two types of readers on our Zero Gravity Blog:

- People that have been to many company parties, bachelor parties, team buildings and all other kinds of stuff you do with your co workers and friend.

AND

- Folks that have not  been part of any of the above because they are young and haven’t yet tasted the life of a full time employee at a big corporation / which sucks by the way :) from personal experience /

But you all have one thing in common – YOU refuse to live a boring life without any adrenaline rush in it. This is where Zero Gravity can help – we do provide all the adrenaline you need ;)

For those of you who are new to this blog – those rides are not exactly your average rollercoaster – check their awesomeness  here

But back to the point. Next time when you and your friends, colleagues, family member, social media group friends want to get together and have good time – Why not go to Zero Gravity and get one of the best deals ever.

We just launched our new Dallas Group Activities page where you can submit custom group request and get an awesome price.

We have music, food & drinks and awesome rides that we take videos of / yes, we do make dvds and upload your performance online if you want us to /.

All of our best dallas attraction rides are on Youtube.com

But remember – our idea of a group is 10 or more.

If you are less than 10 you are still super cool and we want you but you are not a “group”. That does not mean you can get hooked up – check our great  dallas things to do specials for less than 10 people.

So if you are organizing team buildings, corporate events, bachelor parties – keep us in mind for a party that will be definetely something else …..

Memorial Day Mayhem

Hey yall this is Voit.  I’m the crazy haired mascot guy of Zero Gravity.  You’ve always seen me everywhere at this place, and now I have a name.

So have you heard of the crazy deals we are doing for the Memorial Day festivities?   All you college kids are out of school already.  Alot of you guys dont have to work this whole weekend.  So come kick it with us.  We have two great specials going on…

First, its the All Access Thursday, this Thursday the 21st.  We told you back in the day that this would probably turn into a pretty regular thing and I think we have figured it out.  Its the third Thursday of every month that we are doing “All Access.”   You know the routine:  all access, to all rides, all day long, all for one low price, all on Thursday the 21st of May.  (Thank you to all of you who have made this day a success.  It’s  because of yall that we are bringing it back every month.  Thanks.)  Remember when you buy online you get $10 off, so its only $49 online.

Can’t make it on Thursday?  Don’t worry we have the other special for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.  Memorial Day weekend we are bringing back the 2 Thrillseekers for $99 Holiday Promotion.  That’s right, buy 2 Thrillseekers together for a savings of almost 40 bucks.

http://www.gojump.com/dallas-things-to-do.aspx

Listen I know you probably already have a lot of plans for this Memorial Day weekend and that’s cool.  I’m not saying that bungee jumping at Zero Gravity is the only thing you should do this weekend (even though its probably the coolest) but, seriously, at these prices you would be crazy not to check us out.   Oh so you have family in town for the holiday?  Well bring em by and let us blow their freakin minds.

ALL ACCESS PASSES

OK heres the deal.  Every Thursday in March we are going to open this park up and you are going to be able to ride everything we have all day long for one low price…$59.

Seriously.

I mean we have the “thrillseeker” pass where you get to do all 5 rides for $69 and if you ask me its a fantastic deal.  When we first started thinking about doing this all access thing of course we thought it should be more than the 69.  But Im hear for you guys.  Instead of raising it, I freakin lowered the thing so you guys would have no excusses.  I just want everyone to come and have the Zero Gravity experience.  Seriously you gotta come check it out when this place gets going.  Its freakin sweet.

So anyway based on the success of this special it might become a pretty regular thing.  Heres the thing though Im not gonna know unless yall tell me if this worth doing or not.  Tell me what you think.

Oh yea by the way, if you buy your tickets online were takin another $10 off.  Do the math…all access, to all rides, all day, all for $49 (when you buy online but seriously why wouldnt you if save 10 bucks?).  Every Thursday in March.  Hook’n you up.

Alright Im out.  See you on Thursday.

Can you resist the Bad Ash Charm:)

See what one of our employees Ashley has to say about how she joined the team!

Zero Gravity (ZG) is dubbed one of the major attractions in Dallas Texas by top search engines! After seeing what ZG had to offer on Youtube (screen name: zerogravitydallas) my friends and I decided to get some adrenaline running through our veins by trying the bungee – the hardest of them all! The staff told us that we should go from the most fun and work our way up to the hardest. How can you ignore what professionals say!? So we went in order from SkyCoaster, to SkyScraper, to Texas Blast Off, to Free Fall, finally ending at the most challenging of them all, the Bungee Jump. The experience had such an impact on me that I decided to join the Zero Gravity staff. I am now a Drop Master on the Free Fall.

The SkyCoaster

Your adrenaline starts here! You go 110 feet up into the air – up to three people at a time can ride. The ride up is relaxing; once you’re at the top you have to pull the rip-cord, which releases you all into a hang-gliding effect. It reaches up to 60 miles per hour! Your heart is pumping fast, but you’re safe within your harness, your friends flying right beside you! The SkyCoaster is one of the best things to do in Dallas for kids. I’ve seen young kids, some even three years old, ride SkyCoaster. They always come back.

SkyScraper

This is by far the most fun attraction at Zero Gravity! You go 165 feet up in the air and spin 70 miles per hour, while pulling four times the force of gravity! This ride seriously looks intimadating at first, but once I got on and went around a couple of times, I could not stop screaming and laughing because of the pure rush of adrenaline. The best is going backwards. You really feel the pull of gravity. While at the top you can see the Dallas skyline and all the surrounding nightlife. The SkyScraper is my 2nd favorite because of the force, speed and the reaction from our customers! I always say, “I guarantee you come down smiling” I am yet to be proven wrong.

Texas Blast Off

This ride is the most extreme! You are buckled into a chair that projects you into the air 165 feet; go from 0 to 60 in 1.2 seconds! My friend and I did front flips and back-flips while my other friends had a hysterical time watching us on the camera. This one is my 2nd favorite of the whole park. So if you want some excitement, this is your ride!

Free Fall

I am finally the Drop Master on this adrenaline-packed attraction (the best tourist attraction in Dallas and my favorite!) You’re 150 feet up in the air, and you drop – with NOTHING attached – into a net that is 110 feet below you. I get a lot of people that try to chicken out on this ride, but with a little of my “Bad Ash charm,” plus some persuasion, they finally drop. You will regret it if you get up there and don’t do it. The videos that I take are at an awesome angle. The camera is right above you as you fall, and it shows the hesitation and fear in your eyes.

Bungee Jump

This is a little too much for me. The bungee is the one that I fear the most. You have to go against your survival instinct and plunge headfirst towards an airbag, not knowing what exactly is going to happen. This the hardest for me because I have to jump off myself. But every time I successfully do it, it is an extreme rush! I can now say that I have bungee jumped from a seven-story tower and I did it with out the assistance of a push! I have to admit that I have taking the Walk of Shame once or twice.

Touch the Sky in Dallas

See what one of our best employees – Vihn, has to say about his Zero Gravity Experience

“..What fun things are there to do in dallas on a boring night? ”

You could sit around at home and go nowhere in life, or you could sit on the Skyscraper and go 70 mph, 165 ft in the air, and feel the awesomeness of 4 G`s at Zero Gravity. At first it can be a little intimidating and could possibly hurt your neck from looking so high up but once you sit down comfortable in the chair it’s all fun.

I work here at Zero Gravity and probably rode the Skyscraper a gazillion times and it has not got old nor boring and probably never will. It is the employees favorite and customers favorite as well.

Ask anyone that gets off the ride and they’ll probably tell you that it is one of the best attractions in dallas texas.

What are you doing tomorrow night:)?

The best, funnest, and craziest thing to do in Dallas!

ZERO GRAVITY!

I have to say its one of the top attractions, most thrilling of all places I’ve been too. Roller coasters and go-carts can’t compare to the feeling of free-falling into a net with nothing attached to you. Or jumping off a 7-story bungee tower and pretending I’m diving into a swimming pool.

I first heard about Zero Gravity from a couple friends telling me that it was the best thrill amusement park in Dallas. So curious me, I went to go bungee jump. AIR-GASM! I fell in Love with it! My heart was pounding when I noticed how high I was up. My blood started rushing of excitement. So many thoughts ran through my mind and all I could do is let them go.
It literally took my breath away. I wasn’t even able to scream! Afterwards, I was amazingly speechless and felt refreshed. I ended up trying Nothin’ But Net and the Blast Off.

Oh man, the free-fall was so crazzzzy! I can’t find the words to describe how badass it was!! Really, the fall is about 3 seconds, but it feels like forever. My heart almost came out of my mouth, haha of course in a good way. And the blast off, I could not stop laughing. And I had to get the video because my face was priceless.

I had so much fun that I kept coming back with friends who I convinced to do these crazy-awesome rides. I also tried the Skycoaster and the Skyscarper. In the coaster, I felt like superman. (well superwoman!) And the scraper, that one made me laugh even more. Then at 165ft in the air, I got to chill for a couple seconds and observe a nice view of Dallas.
Like I said, the best, funnest, and craziest thing to do in Dallas, Texas is definately Zero Gravity!
