We have a few announcements to make for our upcoming fall season. Our Summer specials were a great success we had to take them off becuase of a very special reason.
The Skyscraper, our all time favourite, is going to make a star appearance at another venue. And there is no better than the Texas State Fair! So from 25 Sep – 18 Oct our awesome ride will be located in Fair Park
Now even more people will be able to enjoy it and spread the word about this amazing attraction. Which leaves us here at the Zero Gravity Thrill Amusement Park with only 4 rides to impress you with.
Which is not a problem because even with 4 rides we are still the craziest place in dallas to go to. The only thing WE have to do now is work on our new combos and deals.
And if you a fan of us on facebook or read this blog will the FIRST ONE TO KNOW!!!
We officially entered into my favorite month of the year. Summer is at its peak, everybody is chillin and having a great time after work, by the pool and hanging out with friends. Our team at Zero gravity wanted to do something so we can make you summer days even cooler ( or hotter )
We are all big fans of our Facebook page where we communicate with all of you that like Zero Gravity and its extreme rides.
So we decided to create an exclusive deal only for our Facebook Fans and Become a Fans. $69 for all rides is a blast, 2 people for $109 was amazing … we go even further with our newest special
4 Trillseekers for $199. We call this our “Family Pack” or “the Amazing Four”.
At Zero Gravity we have spotted an interesting trend. Seems like people coming to dallas from out of town know about Zero Gravity while locals are a little unfamiliar with the uniqueness of our thrill amusement park.
Probably because we have been ranked top#2 attractions in dallas on Tripadvisor. People that plan their visit to the Metroplex know that Zero Gravity is definitely a part of their tourist tour of Dallas.
Recently we setup our groups page and we have been attracting a lot of attention with our group rates.
June has been great with a ton of people that enjoyed themselves at the park and over 9000 visits to our websites.
We hope that our facebook page and new interactive features will help more local people to find one of the best things to do in dallas – ride our rides and have fun!!!!
Please, please , please feel free to comment and give suggestion on anything connected with the park. Cool ideas will be rewarded!!!
Since All you can ride Thursdays was launched there has been nothing but raving reviews about the event. Summer is here and we have decided to listen to our fans and make this a regular thing.
Join us again this Thursday, 18th to spend the sunny day riding thrill rides, listening to good music and chatting with our friendly staff – they like being asked about those rides and believe me they have to ride them every day so they know what’s up!
Just to let you know that we here at Zero Gravity take your oppinnion very serously. It was your idea for All Acess Thursdays to be a regular thing so we are awaiting for more!
You never know – give us ideas and we may give you free rides:)
Pete
P.S. We are working on that crazy special that will only be available on Facebook. So hurry up and become a fan
I am guessing we have two types of readers on our Zero Gravity Blog:
- People that have been to many company parties, bachelor parties, team buildings and all other kinds of stuff you do with your co workers and friend.
AND
- Folks that have not been part of any of the above because they are young and haven’t yet tasted the life of a full time employee at a big corporation / which sucks by the way from personal experience /
But you all have one thing in common – YOU refuse to live a boring life without any adrenaline rush in it. This is where Zero Gravity can help – we do provide all the adrenaline you need
For those of you who are new to this blog – those rides are not exactly your average rollercoaster – check their awesomeness here
But back to the point. Next time when you and your friends, colleagues, family member, social media group friends want to get together and have good time – Why not go to Zero Gravity and get one of the best deals ever.
We just launched our new Dallas Group Activities page where you can submit custom group request and get an awesome price.
We have music, food & drinks and awesome rides that we take videos of / yes, we do make dvds and upload your performance online if you want us to /.
If you are less than 10 you are still super cool and we want you but you are not a “group”. That does not mean you can get hooked up – check our great dallas things to do specials for less than 10 people.
So if you are organizing team buildings, corporate events, bachelor parties – keep us in mind for a party that will be definetely something else …..
See what one of our employees Ashley has to say about how she joined the team!
Zero Gravity (ZG) is dubbed one of the major attractions in Dallas Texas by top search engines! After seeing what ZG had to offer on Youtube (screen name: zerogravitydallas) my friends and I decided to get some adrenaline running through our veins by trying the bungee – the hardest of them all! The staff told us that we should go from the most fun and work our way up to the hardest. How can you ignore what professionals say!? So we went in order from SkyCoaster, to SkyScraper, to Texas Blast Off, to Free Fall, finally ending at the most challenging of them all, the Bungee Jump. The experience had such an impact on me that I decided to join the Zero Gravity staff. I am now a Drop Master on the Free Fall.
The SkyCoaster
Your adrenaline starts here! You go 110 feet up into the air – up to three people at a time can ride. The ride up is relaxing; once you’re at the top you have to pull the rip-cord, which releases you all into a hang-gliding effect. It reaches up to 60 miles per hour! Your heart is pumping fast, but you’re safe within your harness, your friends flying right beside you! The SkyCoaster is one of the best things to do in Dallas for kids. I’ve seen young kids, some even three years old, ride SkyCoaster. They always come back.
SkyScraper
This is by far the most fun attraction at Zero Gravity! You go 165 feet up in the air and spin 70 miles per hour, while pulling four times the force of gravity! This ride seriously looks intimadating at first, but once I got on and went around a couple of times, I could not stop screaming and laughing because of the pure rush of adrenaline. The best is going backwards. You really feel the pull of gravity. While at the top you can see the Dallas skyline and all the surrounding nightlife. The SkyScraper is my 2nd favorite because of the force, speed and the reaction from our customers! I always say, “I guarantee you come down smiling” I am yet to be proven wrong.
Texas Blast Off
This ride is the most extreme! You are buckled into a chair that projects you into the air 165 feet; go from 0 to 60 in 1.2 seconds! My friend and I did front flips and back-flips while my other friends had a hysterical time watching us on the camera. This one is my 2nd favorite of the whole park. So if you want some excitement, this is your ride!
Free Fall
I am finally the Drop Master on this adrenaline-packed attraction (the best tourist attraction in Dallas and my favorite!) You’re 150 feet up in the air, and you drop – with NOTHING attached – into a net that is 110 feet below you. I get a lot of people that try to chicken out on this ride, but with a little of my “Bad Ash charm,” plus some persuasion, they finally drop. You will regret it if you get up there and don’t do it. The videos that I take are at an awesome angle. The camera is right above you as you fall, and it shows the hesitation and fear in your eyes.
Bungee Jump
This is a little too much for me. The bungee is the one that I fear the most. You have to go against your survival instinct and plunge headfirst towards an airbag, not knowing what exactly is going to happen. This the hardest for me because I have to jump off myself. But every time I successfully do it, it is an extreme rush! I can now say that I have bungee jumped from a seven-story tower and I did it with out the assistance of a push! I have to admit that I have taking the Walk of Shame once or twice.
See what one of our best employees – Vihn, has to say about his Zero Gravity Experience
“..What fun things are there to do in dallas on a boring night? ”
You could sit around at home and go nowhere in life, or you could sit on the Skyscraper and go 70 mph, 165 ft in the air, and feel the awesomeness of 4 G`s at Zero Gravity. At first it can be a little intimidating and could possibly hurt your neck from looking so high up but once you sit down comfortable in the chair it’s all fun.
I work here at Zero Gravity and probably rode the Skyscraper a gazillion times and it has not got old nor boring and probably never will. It is the employees favorite and customers favorite as well.
Ask anyone that gets off the ride and they’ll probably tell you that it is one of the best attractions in dallas texas.
